Southbound Only Traffic to Extend from Wilmington Avenue to 2100 South

On May 8, crews will extend the one southbound lane configuration on Highland Drive up to 2100 South. Traffic will remain on the west side of the road while work occurs on the east side.

On-street parking in front of Whole Foods and Barnes & Noble will be closed for the duration of work in this area.

There will be no access for northbound traffic. To proceed north, traffic should use 1300 East or 900 East as alternate routes.

Water line replacement is underway on the east side of Highland Drive between Driggs Avenue and Warnock Avenue. Crews will continue moving north on the east side of Highland Drive. Warnock Avenue is closed at Highland Drive while this work proceeds. Residents should use Stratford Avenue or Whitlock Avenue as alternates.

Asphalt Removal:
Asphalt has been removed inside the work zone on the east side of Highland Drive and intermittent driveway interruptions may occur while crews work in that area. Contact the Communications Team if you have any questions or concerns.

Water Service Interruptions:
As early as Monday, March 20, water service to homes on Warnock Avenue will be interrupted during the day while crews connect their service lines to the new line.

Homes where service will be interrupted will be notified individually.
